Unsettling the unsettled - by WAGner

Anti-occupation movements:
Pushing with every ounce of effort, with whatever's left of one's brow
In a land that's beaten to chaff through scourge and sorrow
With words and demonstrations of disaffection; merely to blight their heartless tormentors
That, a hope they carry, someday the world will hear their dirge.

Relationships:
Bright as the sunshine and clear as a brook was the former understanding
Soon to be embroiled in layer upon layer of individual excogitations a-lingering;
Through some thread of breakthrough (if only humility prevailed) they confront each other, and in doing so themselves;
The consequence of which a revelation is bound to proffer remanents of one's own reflection.

Art & artists:
Oh! the audacity of thought so vitreous that it scares its audience
Who are quick in their critique, and graceful with acclaim that is mostly a pittance
Nonetheless, very few fail to recognise the brilliance of thought that effected the work
Unbiased with the judgement of their own prejudice of what their eyes behold.
The artist is a true intrigue, we neither know how and we neither know why;
But we continue skirting the effects of art without really appreciating the moment of artistic creation.
